Reversed bow
How deep a boat’s bow dives into the waves depends on weight and buoyancy. An overhanging bow provides extra weight and will therefore dive more deeply. Layout
The layout of the TR42 is flexible. Both an aft cabin and the open cockpit version can be chosen. In the aft cabin version, the cabin has been moved slightly forward from the transom to make room for a bathing platform, storage space for the dinghy and the possibility to fit an outboard engine.
